What is Thermal Transfer (TT) Print Method?
The Thermal Transfer Printing method uses a roll of ribbon to print onto the labels. These ribbons are available in Wax, Wax/Resin or Resin allowing printing on various types of paper material. The printed label is durable and long lasting.
What is the Direct Thermal (DT) Print Method?
The Direct Thermal Print method prints directly on thermal paper labels with no ribbon. The printers print head applies heat directly to the thermal paper label which turns black where heat is applied. The print on the label does not last very long and is affected by heat, moisture etc.
